2017 Annual Conference A Success!
The 17th Annual Conference was held at the Drury Inn in Burlington on November 6-7, 2017, with nearly 100 people in attendance.
In addition to enjoying great accommodations and meals, attendees benefited from two full days of career development and educational opportunities. Between scheduled presentations, participants found plenty of time to network with other permitting professionals from across the state to discuss unique challenges and share solutions.
The conference began with a warm welcome from the City of Burlington and a great presentation on stress management. The Guest speakers presented programs on a number of topics of specific interest to permitting professionals, including asbestos, demolition, liens, and legislative changes.
Representatives from the General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Fire Sprinkler Contractors Boards, as well as the North Carolina Department of Insurance were also in attendance and participated on both days, providing important information as well as responding to questions and concerns from attendees.
All in all, the conference was a great success! Check back here in mid-2018 for information on our next exciting conference. We hope to see you there!
