Annual Conference a Success!

The 16th Annual Conference was held November 7-8, 2016 in Burlington, NC, with over 100 career professionals in attendance.

In addition to enjoying great accomodations and meals, attendees benefitted from two full days of career development and educational opportunites. Between scheduled presentations, participants found plenty of time to network with other permitting professionals from across the state to discuss unique challenges and share solutions.

Guest speakers presented programs on the topics of lead abatement, leins, flood zones, elevators, tiny homes, building permit forecasting, record retention and legislative issues affecting code enforcement.

Representatives from the General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Fire Sprinkler Contractors, and the North Carolina Department of Insurance participated on both days.

Thanks to the Officers and Directors who planned and directed the activities, thanks to the guest speakers who shared their time and expertise, and thanks to everyone who attended and participated.  The conference was a great success!

Check back here in mid-2017 for information on the 17th Annual Conference, and we hope to see you there!
